LMI Commissions Street Names in Honour of Distinguished Stakeholders
As part of its efforts to recognize the contributions of its stakeholders to the development of Ghana’s foremost industrial park, LMI Holdings held a street naming ceremony on Thursday, 6th October 2022 at the Meridian Industrial Park (MIP), Tema Free Zones Enclave to show appreciation to its distinguished stakeholders who have contributed to the growth and success of the Industrial Park and consequentially, Ghana’s industrialisation.

The ceremony was graced by the Deputy Minister of Trade, Hon. Michael Okyere Baafi, Chairman of LMI, Mr. Kojo AduHene and the Chargés D’Affaires of the Canadian High Commission.
The distinguished stakeholders included the Canadian High Commission honoured with the Vancouver and Halifax streets; Mr. Jack Sinclair, Mr. Sipa Yankey, Hon. Isaac Osei, and Mr. Francis Osei Badu, were equally honoured with streets named after them.
Their contributions have helped to put in motion the vision of Africa’s development across sectors, generating employment and boosting the economy through domestic and foreign investments. They have also played a vital role in supporting the community and creating a conducive haven for businesses and investors. In so doing, the names will be permanently associated with the stakeholders’ individual legacies as well as the history of LMI Holdings.
The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Hon. Michael Okyere Baafi also commended LMI for its compactness and development of infrastructure to facilitate ease of industrial activities in the Industrial Park.
The Meridian Industrial Park in Tema, Ghana is home to various multinational companies across manufacturing sectors including food processing, automotive, steel manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, et al and provides infrastructure for a plethora of businesses and investors.
